As a certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Jennifer Walden is one of the few women who is certified in her field. She specializes in cosmetic surgery and is a strong advocate for women’s health. She wants people to be able to be able to feel good about themselves and to have control over what they do with their bodies.

Born in Autin, Texas Jennifer Walden already had an early introduction to what work was like the medical field. Her father was a dentist and her mother worked as a surgical nurse. Inspired by them, Jennifer Walden graduated from Anderson High School and went on to further education to become a surgeon. She attended the Medical Branch at the University of Texas and received her MD her specialization in plastic surgery.

Jennifer Walden started her professional career at the Manhatten Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. Her mentor there was Dr. Sherrell Aston. Since then, her work has been mentioned on ABC News, Fox News, and !E. She worked on the Upper East Side for New York City for over seven years. She has assisted with work in clinical trials that helped to develop silicon breasts for new implants. Dr. Walden has also done plastic surgery for multiple celebrities.

In December 2011, she returned to Austin, Texas after her twin sons were born and opened her own private practice. She also runs the local tv segment “Looking Good and Living Well” which is featured on KVUE-TV. Dr. Walden was recognized for her work in an article of Texas Monthly for Texas Super Doctors. In 2016, she was accepted into the American Association of Plastic Surgeons.
