Vijay Eswaran is a network marketing specialist, author, philanthropist, and motivational speaker from Malaysia. Eswaran is also among the initiators of the QI Group of Companies, an e-commerce conglomerate that he leads as an executive chairperson. The QI Group’s diversified portfolio covers logistics, property development, education, and conference management.
According to QBuzz, Vijay Eswaran worked for established companies, such as IBM, in their subsidiaries based in Canada, Australia, Europe, and the US. Eswaran returned to Malaysia after working in several parts of the world.
Using the experience he earned from IBM, Eswaran came up with the idea for a training and direct-selling conglomerate. The QI Group was born out of this conceptualization process in 1998.
With over 18 years experience in the direct selling industry, the QI Group has operational offices in Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore. The business conglomerate’s presence in over 30 countries is fostered through its diverse subsidiaries.
Besides his management work, Vijay Eswaran is also a motivational speaker. He has traveled different parts of the world and lectured on topics that range from business to spirituality.
Vijay Eswaran has also spoken at established universities and forums for leadership, business, and management. Forums that have featured him include the Commonwealth Business Forums and the esteemed World Economic Forum.
Eswaran uses QI Group in advancing his philanthropic endeavors. He founded the RYTHM Foundation to operate as a corporate social responsibility wing of QI Group of Companies.
To honor his father, Eswaran created the Vijayaratnam Foundation in Malaysia. In honor of Vijay Eswaran’s Philanthropy, Forbes Asia recognized him in its 2011 Heros of Philanthropy annual list. During the 3rd World Chinese Economic Forum, Eswaran also bagged the lifetime achievement award for Regional Philanthropy.
Eswaran’s best-selling book, Sphere of Silence, is about life management. The book has been critically acclaimed and translated into different languages. Other books that Eswaran has been credited as a writer include On the Wings of Thought and In The Thinking Zone. Eswaran is also a regular contributor to newspaper columns in Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
